Dead Mountain
I’ve read a few by these authors, and I put a few away, didn’t grip me, or gripped too tightly? I’m not sure, but setting — New Mexico — the characters, which include an archeologist rather than all law enforcement, and the plotting, all works.
Let’s see, New Mexico, aliens, conspiracy theories, conspiracy theorists, grief, murder, mayhem, crooked sheriff, and a stray Cold War bomb. Oh, and the secret tunnels in the mountains south and east of Albuquerque where the Roswell aliens are.
Really good book, enjoyable reading.
