The Circle C (c) notice. The image, that one I took with the phone, then diddled the exposure and so forth on the tablet, tweaking to get what I wanted.

No Photos!

Did it work? Who knows, too early to say, but not many people have saluted. Kind of a sign.

As I passed it to eat at the best vegetarian food in the world, I started thinking about the inherent message.

On the side of a building, facing the street, meters away from downtown, it begs to have its picture taken.

Back in the day, Austin’s seminal radio station, when radio still mattered, was — at the time — 107.1 Kay-Geezer. Later developed into an insanely loyal listening base due to the “eclectic” play list.

Seemed quite free form.
(Hint: it was tightly controlled by a music director, not really as free flowing as it seemed.)

The ad, there was one South Austin billboard, “Do Not Listen to 107.1.”

Advertising gamble.

I wonder if it pays?
