Welcome to the Beach

Perfect little Sepia Scene —

I looked up over where the fireplace had been. Texas. South Texas, properly, Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend area.

Why would anyone want a fireplace in South Texas? 80 degrees, and I still need a sweater, don’t get me wrong, but a fireplace?

Anyway, etched in un-retouched sepia, “Welcome to the Beach.”

Too Funny!
Check it out, before the bill passed, busted for an AK-47 at school.

Look at the mug shot.

    Perhaps a fireplace was there to grill the newly caught shrimp or oysters. The only reason I can think of at a beach…

    I think it was “the thing,” you know, “back in the day.”

    Mugshot = NMMI?

    In the video, I like:
    – the disembodied hand pointing at the bayonet
    – the generic youth minister
    – the generic po-po evil gun speech
    I want an AK even more now.

    Yeah, like the T-shirt. I got to find a picture of me in one of those, alas, I don’t have an AK (but I hear they are schweeeeet).

    I don´t know, but here in Sweden we need a good fire place this winter.

  • rhubarb Feb 23, 2011 @ 12:50

    the only reason for a fireplace around here is to amuse the fire signs in winter and maybe grill a fish or two.
