New Mexico Chili

From El Paso, not more than ten or so miles south of the New Mexico line, it’s a package of justifiably famous “New Mexico Chili,” and originally, I was aiming for a Ruby Tuesday image. After messing with the image while pushing a cart through the store, though, the filters and frames rendered a better sepia scene, just as an adjunct to the last trip.

These can be rehydrated – but woe unto those who bite into the very hot fruit. Dried chilis can add a remarkable spice to any dish – be they from NM or the Lone Star…

Great texture (the bag) and terrific flavor (the chilis).
