Still need a literary agent. Some books that could use a regular agent are obviously here. There’s at least one more “in the can,” too.

Kind of picture I’ve seen. But couldn’t quite catch.

Might have a language problem. Still, some of the finest “flying through the air” wrestling.

And Worst:
Personally, I’d be pissed – but I couldn’t even watch the whole video.

Whether:
Or not. I spent almost three hours on the phone with Sister. Family business. I was headed out for a walk before the call, as it was a balmy and an almost warm 65. When I rang off the phone with her, three hours later? A very un-doable 44.

Glad I got chili.

I can remember my mother teaching me that using sports metaphors would help me communicate where men were predominant–good advice, since I work in a male-dominated industry. She told me that it would be easier for men to understand something coming out of left field, than talking about an unexpected or unusual idea. And so forth.

When I went to work in the IT Department years ago, the guys were in the process of setting up a Super Bowl pool. I like American football, and we had some good conversations over coffee about the strengths and weaknesses of the two teams and who they had beaten to get to the Bowl.

I won the pool and was “one of the guys” from then on, not least because I used my winnings to take them all out to a fancy sushi restaurant (my first taste of sushi).

Dang it, mamma always knew best.
