I saw Charlie Robison, sort of unplugged, Thursday evening at Floores Country Store. Most people, not from around here, know him as “Bar light, bar bright” guy. I think it was a big hit.
Interesting to me, to see an occasional wonderful and evocative singer still willing to bare all on a small stage. The story behind a lyric about Boys Town, just the star himself and another guitar player, on acoustical guitars, nothing else. Drinking. Heavily. Adoring fans doing the “Charlie I love you” thing.
