The Cosmic Tarot – English Edition
I took these cards out to make sure the set was complete and clean. It’s a German printing of Norbert Losche Cosmic Tarot. Pretty weird in the usual way. For Tarot cards. There are all 78, but most notable, to me, was the use of a Pink Flamingo on the Star Card. That tickled my fancy.
Provenance is ticklish at best, but this looks like it is a non-US Game Systems version of this deck. The instructional leaflet has no references to US Game Systems, so that omission can date the deck as an earlier edition.
The box itself, while in good to very good condition, it certainly isn’t new. Pretty good if one considers how rare a non- or pre-US Games Systems deck is. Box says “English Edition” across the front.

The Karma Tarot:
It’s a rather well-worn box, but the cards all seem to be in good shape, if not exactly new. It’s a deck I don’t see very often, and this one has seen better days, although, as near as I can tell, the cards still retain ever bit of the original vigor. It’s large deck, too, measuring over five inches in length and three and half inches in breadth. The artwork on the cards is clear and the instructional booklet is nearly new, with a 1983 copyright date.
While this resembles a “normal” tarot deck, the Major Arcana are slightly different in name and artwork. Visible on the cover, for example, the #1 card is usually the Magician. With this deck, he’s been renamed the Juggler. Not that it’s bad, just slightly askew from more staid and conservative decks.
The box looks like it’s been around some, but the cards themselves feel fine. No warranty as to suitability or application is implied – void where prohibited by law.
The Amazon version? It sounds cooler.
Highway Star (new link is good). And is there anything as fat as an old Hammond organ? Wasn’t that what it was? Huge pipes – metaphorically speaking.
