The Libra intellectual orientation makes them desire a compromise between passion and intellect. They strive for objectivity and want time to make decisions. Libra's have a certain need to be liked and are reluctant to engage in confrontations except as mental exercise or debatable points of law. Should have been a lawyer. Know any good lawyer jokes? A Libra can be charming and witty, but this really hides their approach of an iron fist in a velvet glove. Like a Scorpio, a Libra can give back in kind what has been received, although the Libra comes across as more balanced. They are often flirtatious and romantic, but this is turned off if physical attraction is not balanced by intellectual rapport. It makes sense, too, because they derive physical and psychological pleasure from beauty.
Libra's are probably lovers of books, music, clothes, and flowers, and their environment must be aesthetically pleasing. They are capable of good manners and diplomacy, which is good, too, because they need partnership and association with other people but often dislike crowds. You will find that their physical stamina runs in cycles. I have a strong indication that Libra's have a strong desire for rich foods, especially sweets.

Grocery store: I've been shopping with enough Libra's to know that nothing will escape them. But if you're planning on this being a quick trip to the store, be prepared for a longer lasting event. The Libra will probably peruse the diet foods, the foods with reduced fat, no calories, and other useless group of food. The heart and soul of Libra is caught up in sweet food.
Brick wall: Brick walls with Libra's are fun, particularly if you have warped sense of humor. Face a Libra with a definite binary question. Yes or No. Black or white. "It's kind of a gray area, really...." In computer terms, it's either on or it's off. 1 or 0. "Well, it's sort of in the middle, you know...." A Libra can see both sides of a problem, and this gives them a chance to render a fair and impartial decision. But in front of that brick wall, the Libra will bounce from foot to foot, thinking, "I've got to get over this thing, but you know, some one put this wall here in the first place, and it's here for a reason, and maybe we shouldn't tackle it...."
